Hello Neighbor,
I'm the President of Denver Sister Cities International, the non-profit 501-C3 organization that is responsible for managing and maintaining Denver’s relationships with its 10 sister cities around the world. Denver Sister Cities’ mission is to “promote peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation with cultural, educational and economic endeavors.” We have official mayor-to-mayor relationships with cities in Italy, Japan, France, Mexico, China, Ethiopia, Israel, Kenya, India and Mongolia and pursue many initiatives ranging from potable water projects and school construction to cultural exchanges and economic development. Denver Sister Cities was founded in 1948 and was one of the first charter member of Sister Cities International, our mother organization in Washington DC. .
